Ophthalmologists from hospitals and institutes of Gansu province attended?the?10th?International?Ophthalmology?Conference?of?Chinese?Foundation?for?Lifeline?Express?and?Lanzhou?University?Second?Hospital, which was held in Lanzhou?University?Second?Hospital from October 19 to 21.

Dr. Nikolaos Y. Cozens, Chairman of the Greek Society of Ophthalmology, and Dr. HO Chun-Ho Jonathan, honorary clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology and visual sciences, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, were invited to give lectures in the conference. The two experts stated views and technology of the diagnosis and treatment?on pediatric ophthalmology, glaucoma, oblique amblyopia, and neuro ophthalmology, and then carried out a series of activities encompassing case discussion, ward rounds, and teaching young doctors.

The ophthalmology department of the LZUSH is one of the ophthalmology microsurgery training center (the tenth in China) cooperating with the Health Express and the ICO examination center (for candidates from Gansu and Qinghai province).
